Stan is the founding pastor of Greater Hope Church. He is married to Stacey and is the father of four kids (Asher, Kathryne, Madeline, and Xander). A Mulberry native, Stan has a passion to see the gospel renew the people in his hometown area. In his spare time, Stan loves to spend time with his family, read books, cheer on the Florida State Seminoles, and enjoy the outdoors.
Lauren Patterson
Director of Kids’ Ministries

Lauren serves Greater Hope as the director of kids’ ministries. A Polk County native, Lauren is married to her husband, Nathan, and is the mother of 5 children (Lucas, Riley, Embry, Annie, and Paige). In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, coaching volleyball, and painting and restoring furniture.
Rachel Miller
Administrative Assistant

Rachel serves Greater Hope as the administrative assistant. Originally from Mississippi, Rachel moved to Lakeland with her husband, Matt, in 2015. Her passion is to use her skills and abilities to serve the local church in any way possible for the furtherance of the gospel. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, antique shopping, sipping on a hot green tea latte, and traveling.
Ben Arnold
Worship Team Leader
As the worship team leader at Greater Hope Church, Ben’s passion is to see the gospel working in the lives around him as God works in and through him. Originally from Pennsylvania, Ben moved around a lot as an ARMY kid but now happily calls Polk County home. He and his wife, Drew, have three fun-loving boys: Calvin, Ethan, and Leopold. In his spare time, Ben likes to run, rock climb, read books, and spend time with his family.
Jim Davie
Technical Team Leader
Jim is the audio/video lead at Greater Hope and serves to ensure our A/V needs are met through training and scheduling of God's talented volunteers. Jim is married to his wonderful wife Deena and has a daughter (Adrienne), and son (Brandon). Jim and Deena both enjoy serving in any way they can to further the gospel. In his spare time, Jim enjoys spending time with Deena and his four granddaughters, listening to music, and photography.
Andrew Bostrom
Intern
As an intern at Greater Hope Church, Andrew assists with various ministry-related tasks as well as serving on the worship team. Andrew is passionate about seeing the gospel change lives in Mulberry, Polk County, and beyond. A Michigan native, Andrew moved to the Greater-Lakeland area in 2009. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing and listening to different kinds of music, eating chicken tacos, and sipping on a hot cup of tea.
